You can view two-dimensional sections of any three-dimensional (or higher) spectrum just as you would view an ordinary two-dimensional spectrum. In this example, "hsqc.DAT" is a 2D 1H-15N HSQC experiment and "noesy.DAT" is a 3D, 15N-edited NOESY experiment on the same protein. The cursor on the HSQC panel defines an (H, N) location which is used to extract an XY plane from the NOESY spectrum, shown at right. Several NOE correlations to the amide of residue 106 are evident in the strip plot.
